CAN I MIX DEXRON IIE AND DEXRON IIIF ATF??? 850

i need to topup the atf in my '96 850 t5, volvo did a flush for me about 15,000 miles ago and i just want to add about 1/4 litre to bring it to the max mark.

volvo used dexron IIe but i can only get hold of dexron IIIf is this ok to use instead???
