Turn signal speed 850

I went to change my trun signal bulb. I correctly detached everything, didn;t seem to disturb anything and next thing I know the side I changed the turn signal speed has increased. SO now when I signal right it flashes twice the speed it had before and my left was unaffected. I have no idea how to correct this. any suggestions? comments
and if you see an 850 with a rapid right turn signal flashing right give me a honk! honk!
