A/C Drain and 'Swishing Noise' S40-V40

Does anyone know how to clear the A/C drain on the S40's? Is it common for this drain to get cloged? The car is never parked under a tree or the like. Can I do it myself of do I need bring in into the service center and pay the $28.50 each time?


BTW
When the A/C drain is cloged, the car makes a "swishing" sound when the A/C is on.
