wet brakes 850 1995

I was in a deluge last week and went for the brakes on the turbo wagon and wow what a surprise!!!...nothing there for a good 4 count and then OK.....stock pads and rotors......Had ther car 6 months and had never been in big rain....any body else get this regularly????....Gotta fix?....Colt
