Door Molding Paint Fading..Should Repaint Be Under Warranty? S70 2000

Hi all...I have a 2000 S70 Mystic Silver...with 29k on it...The plastic door molding strip that runs along each door is fading...with only 29k on it..and it has never been repainted..it should be under factory warranty right?...I emailed Volvo Customer service and have received no response yet. What is the proper protocol to follow to get the re-painting of the molding under warranty by Volvo/Dealer..Any advice?..Thanks..lance
