My wife drove her 850 T5 wagon (80K miles) today and it was fine. She got in it to go home later, it started but the warning lights went nuts. The arrow (limp mode) came on, the SRS and ABS lights came on and stayed on car would not go as usual. I went to check it out and it would not crank at all. I jumped it and it started right up. I drove home no problem, no lights or anything unusual.
To make an unnecesarily long story short, I think it was just the battery and I was wondering if I should replace the "Volvo" battery in it at the dealer or would I be better off with a Sears or something like that. Cost is no option, I've just heard somewhere (on this site I think) that the Volvo batteries aren't that much better than say a Diehard.
Thanks in advance
