I'm interested in building up an 850R longblock, and mating it with a M56H transmission.
General buildup plans:
) Bore the block as needed to have a new, clean cylinder to work with.
2) hone it with a deck plate for the proper cross hatch. cross hatch
of about 60 degrees.
3) deck the block if needed to make sure the top of it is true and
straight for cylinder head mounting.
4) micro polished crankshaft, turned for true and the oil journals
will opened a bit and smoothed out. balanced with the rods
and pistons as a rotating mass.
5) head milled also if needed to ensure trueness.
6) 5 angle valve job
7) head cut for new valve seals.
8) Full detailed port and polish on the intake manifold side
9) Full detailed port and polish on the exhaust side
10) internal port job. All connecting items port matched
11) bowl portred and polished.
12) Bore the throttle body.
Who can do this sort of work and supply me with the following for the engine:
1) New cunnigham I-Beam forged Rods with bearings
2) New Ross forged pistons with wrist pins
3) Above two items aligned vertically on crank for better high rpm operations
and less vibration.
4) All new cam and crank bearings.
5) New gasket set for entire engine.
6) T04E Turbonetics turbo charger. Probably a .57 Stage 3 q-trim with an A/R of .63
7) Larger Fuel injectors from RC injectors. 480-590 cc.
8) fuel pump if needed.
9) A custom tubular exhaust manifold/header for above.
10) 3" downpipe without catalytic converter.
11) 3" cat back exhaust.
12) M56H (manual) transmission
13) Stage 2 clutch from clutchmasters.
14) Shifter assembly with boot and cables.
15) Clutch slave cylinder.
16) Clutch pedal slave cylinder and lines.
17) Clutch/brake pedal quadrant.
18) Drive axles.
20) Custom mapped ECU at 18-22 psi, 2nd at 28-30psi or so for racing.
21) Optiflow intake system with heat shield.
22) Aquamist water injection system actuated in time with fuel injector signal.
23) HKS SSQV blow off valve welded on Intercooler pipe.
24) Reverse flow intercooler pipes.
25) A turbonetics delta or race gate external wastegate on the exhaust manifold.
matched for smmoth uninterupted air flow.
If anyone would like to take on this buildup project, I'm looking for a competent engine buildup company/machine shop/performance shop that can do the machine work, install the custom internals, and bolt the tranny with aftermarket clutch up to the longblock, then ship it to me. Please, any suggestions of who can do this, or anyone with 850R longblock buildup experience please feel free to comment.
