Instrument Panel Lights 850 1995

I have one burned out instrument panel light, near the 35 mph mark. Is there a way I can change one bulb without pulling the whole panel? Looking up from near the pedals, I think I can see a black bulb socket, but I don't know if I can gain access this way.
