Just a note for all those that might not know. My battery terminals were very crusty with the typical build-up that battery terminals happen to get. I used to clean them with a wire brush, but I have found a better way. I mix about half a cup of baking soda with water and stir it up real good. Then I pour the mix on the battery termials and scrub it with an old tooth brush. I then rinse it with a water hose, and then repeat the process. I am carefull not to get any baking soda into the battery filler caps (if the battery has them.) This leaves the battery terminals looking very, very clean, and the baking soda acts to neutrialize the acid. I am not sure if this it really the best way, but I sure to bank by it. Comments are welcome.
