I was on a 10 hour road trip and about 8 hours in, my wipers started going off and wiper fluid started spraying. I pulled off at the closest rest stop, wipers still going, fluid long gone but still pumping. I shut the car off, smoked a cigarette, turned it over and it worked fine. On the way home however I wasn't so lucky. It started doing it again,but turning the car off then on didn't help. I unplugged the wire on the washer fluid pump, but the wipers were still going. I replaced the wiper speed control arm, but that didn't help either. Any body have any suggestions? Thanx, B.
