A/C Low Pressure Port V70-XC70

All I'm trying to do is take off the black cap on the a/c low pressure port...is it twist off? Is there some trick to taking it off? Mine is on there pretty good and scared to put anymore pressure on it. Scared I might snap something. I tried using some pliers and couldn't get the cap to budge.
