850 instrument lights won't work 850 1993

Hello once again. Thank you all for the repair tips over the years. I've grown to love my Volvo even more, especially because of the repair trials it has put me through.

Here's the new issue: my dash lights don't work. Here's what I've done:
1. Replaced all of the dash lamps
2. Replaced the dimmer switch and the headlight switch
3. Took it to a mechanic who cleaned off the switch terminals, replaced the bulbs in the switch,
and got the lights working again, but, three weeks later, I'm back in the same boat. NO DASH
LIGHTS!!!

I hope someone has a brialliant suggestion, because I've taken my dash apart several times, accually went to a mechanic, and now I fear I'm going to have to go to the dealer.
