Rotate tires and get a better ride?

Hi,

The car has been riding so harshly that I thought I had a suspension component failing. I maintain the tire pressure at 34F and 31R.

I rotated the tires (front to back and not including the spare) and the quality of the ride has improved dramatically. It skims over expansion joints and generally is more compliant over rough pavement.

I'm stumped. This is too weird.

Bryan
