1. My system was low on refrigerant so I recharged it a few months ago, now it blows nice and cold, but the A/C compressor remains on and never cycles off when A/C switch is in Auto mode. Even with temp controls set high, A/C compressor stays on. Isn't the compressor supposed to cycle off when inside temp is satisfied?
2. I noticed the passenger side blows heat when ambient is like 71 deg F and temp set below that, but heat stops when control is set to max cool setting. Only affects passenger side.
3. I get the blinking rec/ac switch lights blinking sometimes. I found in the archives info about reading ECC codes on the earlier models, but how is this done on the 1996 models? Is the only way to use an expensive Volvo diagnostic tool? If I disconnect the battery, will that erase or clear the ECC error codes?
I'm thinking some of the temp sensors are dirty or failing.
