Turbo Wastegate Solanoid A Malfunction V70-XC70 1998

Hooked up an OBDII code reader on my 98XC (130,000) and came up with turbo wastegate solanoid A malfunction and O2 sensor malfunction. I have a haynes manual that covers up to 96 but it does not show the wastegate solanoid so I can't discover whether it is something I can change myself. I can't even find it online anywhere as an available part! Does anyone know anything about the wastegate solanoid?

Also, does a O2 sensor malfunction directly affect the wastegate solanoid?
