Hunting Idle and Temperature...

As per a Volvo master tech I am going to attempt to clean my ETM Electronic Throttle Module when I get a chance to see if it helps with my mildly hunting idle.

I just discovered a little factoid to introduce in to the equation. The idle seems to even out exactly when the temperature gauge reaches it's normal state at the middle.

Does this aspect ring a bell in anyones experience?
