Alarm not arming S40-V40 2001

After spending a week in the body shop, my alarm will not arm or engage. I know they disconnected my battery to replace a headlight assembly, because I had to type in the security code to make the radio work again.

Any ideas on why the alarm isn't working? How to fix it?
