Heater/AC codes? 850 1996

Hi all;

I need help with a code problem (I think)
When I start my '96 850 turbo the A/C off lite flickers, and then the A/C off and recirculate lites blink on and off 17 times in unison and then they come on normally. There is nothing that I can see wrong with the heat/Ac system. This looks like some sort of diagnostic code, but I could be completely wrong. Anybody have any ideas?
