Intermittently, but increasingly more frequent, the ignition key rotates completely around in the tumbler without activating any electrical system. After jiggling it around forward and backward, it works. Can't seem to get the pattern of it. Anyway, is this a simple fix or one that needs a new assembly? If so, is it the mechanical end or the electrical end that causing the problems?
Is the replacement of the assembly easy or should I leave it to the shop? I am a bit handy, but prefer not to spend the entire day in the garage.
