Front and rear brake rotor heavily scored S40-V40

Hi all... I'm a new user to this forum from Ontario Canada!

In the most recent maint report from dealer on '01 V40, they comment that my front and rear brake rotor are heavily scored. They recommend me to replace both the rotor and the pads in the next scheduled service. I have 58000km on my car. The dealer states that the rotors are NOT covered by the warranty.

Is this scoring common to S/V40? Can anyone confirm if the rotor job is not covered under warranty by Volvo Canada?
