Air pump relay 850

posted by  someone claiming to be Jot on  Wed Nov 26 12:40 CST 2003 [RELATED]

While replacing the air-pump in my '96 N/A I noticed the relay attached to the bottom of the battery tray said FAN RELAY .Are the fan and air pump relays the same? I know the fan relay is located at the top of the radiator.As the new air-pump gave me a code I'm guessing the relay it bad.any thoughts? Thanks
