850 starts again solved!

My 93 850glt would not start . After numerous troubleshooting attempts I refered to the archives and discovered the,( lawnmower scenario) disscusions so I gave it a try. I am glad I am not a betting man for if I were I would have bet agaisnt the advice. After cranking the starter long three succesive trys as described the darn thing fired up and ran.I still am miffed about this sticking valve behaviour . Guess I will do a oil change mobil 1 and do the Italian tuneup followup !Thanks brickboard members for this timely and cost savings solution. Michael 1993 850glt 209000 miles.
