Tranmission Flush S40-V40

I am also planning on flushing the transmission. I know there has been a post on here on how to do it yourself, but what about having it done at a local repair shop? The guy there claims that they can even remove the fluid from the pan with their machine. Anyone have any insight or suggestions???
