While changing oil on my s70 yesterday i decided to have a look at the flame trap due to check engine light ,was looking at maf sensor while things were apart noticed it had no screen on it and one of the prongs apeared bent well you guessed it i tried to straghten it big mistake it broke off.now car realy runs bad.called around couldnt get part at local autoparts store was special order part. called volvo they had to order it also so ordered it from them $211.00 expensive mistake . Now my question while installing new maf bay 13 says unplug batery, is this to reset check engine light. i really dont want to unplug batery as i dont know anything about how to reset radio security code or even what the code is, did find 6 number didget sticker in my owners manual folder is this it and how do you reset codes? im also changing flame trap. are theese two things likely to get rid of check engine light?
