Service Light resetting ('95 850) 850

I recently changed the oil on my '95 850 Turbo wagon. Its been about 1000 miles into that oil change and the 'service' light illuminates each time I start it and remains on for about 3 minutes then extinguishes. Is the 'service' light related to the oil change? If so, how do I "reset" the service light interval?
