lawnmower syndrome...help! 850

Ive just created a classic case or lawn mower syndrome (started the car for a min in connection with changing a light bulb-knew before i even tried-from the smell- i was in trouble-) please help--last time i never did get it. If you know a procedure id appreciate hearing it--TYIA H
