Engine dies 850 1995

Quite suddenly, my high mileage 850 wagon has developed a habit of dying after taking a sharp corner, either left or right. I have been succesful in restarting it on several occasions but now it seems to be totally dead. My first instinct was fuel/pump. I replaced the fuel filter as I could hear some noise coming from my pump. It didn't help. Is there something that needs to be cleaned or is it a total replacement? Any clues?
