Electrical chaos - car seats, locks, windows, mirrors 850 1994

I need your help. I am a technical klutz but hate to spend a fortune at the dealer if there is a simple solution.

My Volvo Wagon seems to be possessed by an electic ghost! The electronic driver seat works forwards but not backwards (and is now stuck in a position that makes it pratcically impossible to drive). My key "clicker" opens passenger and back locks but not the driver lock. It will not lock any of the doors. The electric windows and side mirrors will not work.

These problems began progressively after I had the rear hatchback lock replaced (I had broken it using a tie-down for a large load). Any ideas? I have tried the fuses and they seem okay.

Appreciate any help you can provide.
