S80 T6 alternator S80 1999

Hi,
My car, 1999 S80 T6 had problems with the power steering. I took it to the dealer at least 2 times because of noises while turning. They said the fluid was low & refilled it twice. Then the transmission broke. That is now fixed. Last week the alternator went out. I no longer go to the dealer, since the transmission. Anglo-Canadian Motors in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. My private shop said the power steering fluid was dripping onto the alternator, that caused a short out. The clamp on the powersteering line was loose. Be careful if your powersteering fluid gets low. It cost $700 canadian to replace the alternator. Sandy
