tire compatability 850

There are some 205 55 16 tires for very cheap at pep boys right now. My car has 205 50 16 tires on it (which I assume are stock).

Can the 205 55 16s be an accepatable replacement, or is the 50 vs. 55 difference too much height on the tire?
