Instrument cluster light bulb replacement 850

Howdy neighbors,

I have a 1997 850 GLT, VDO cluster, electronic trip/ gas mileage computer dash. I have to change a bulb that is causing the right side to be dimmer on the right side of where it displays my gas mileage.
Do you reccomend any brand bulbs for longest life?
What is the best way to remove (tooling?) and replace these panel bulbs if others begin to fail?
Haynes manual does not show picture breakdown. Any good websites?
