CONSUMER GUIDE REPAIR PRICES V70-XC70

just checked above on 8 common repairs(rad,alt,brakes,t chain a/c etc. on nine cars according to Consumer Guide. V 70 came in at $4960, 5 series $7805, Subaru $3885, Passat $5255,Lumina $4125, 300 M $5660.
Us 70's were 7/9 in repair cost (bad news) but only $400 from the #3 spot held by the pt cuiser(good for dollars, bad for the pt)
Ignore the pt and lumina comparassons.Question is, they claim v 70 shocks are $1400,$415 for a timing chain,brakes $310,$475 rad.Do you think these are accurate prices? For my pathetic interest only.
