Snow Chains for Michelin MXV4 Plus V70-XC70

I have a V70 with 205/60R15 Michelin MXV4 Plus tires. The dealer recommends Spikes-Spiders, stating that there isn't enough clearance for chains. But I have not heard anything good about Spikes-Spiders. Are there chains that can be used safely on my 1998 V70? Or do Spikes-Spiders really work?
