S40 Noise S40-V40

My 2000 S40 with 33K miles has just started making a relay type clicking noise
that sounds like it is coming from the Glove box area in the dash. Does anyone know of a relay in this area, and if so what is it and how do I get to it? The clicking usually only happens during the first 5 minutes of operation. There does not appear to be any function that is affected (A/C is fine, heat? well in outh FLorida we never use the heater, but I have tried it and it works fine.), but it is annoying.
