engine mounts V70-XC70

My 2001 cross country was found to have a broken engine mount. The dealership service Dept employee indicated that this was not unusual, and if fact quite common.The car has 54,000 miles on it and is not subjected to hard driving.I'd like the opinion of others concerning this problem.
