Just bought a '98 v70 awd in great shape. I'm reading the owner's manual, which states that when changing the oil in a turbo model, an additional amount of oil should be put in "if" I drain the oil from the oil cooler. What is the oil cooler (how can I identify it)? How would I drain it? SHOULD I drain it? If so, how often (every oil change)? Does the new oil go into the same filler, or is there a separate filler for the oil cooler? Also, for this model (car has 53k miles), should I consider making the switch to synthetic oil if the car has been raised on regular oil? If I do so, will the oil change interval increase from the usual 5000 miles? Thanks
