Pardon my ignorance, but I felt I should ask this before I head to or call the sometimes less-than-helpful parts department.

When I bought my car, I got one key. Fine, as long as I'm the only driver. Now, with a fiancee in the picture, it's time to get a second key to avoid the whole "take the Volvo key off my keyring and give it to her" number.

Anyway, what I'm asking is what information should I go to the parts department with when I order a replacement key? I'm presuming VIN number and some form of proof of ownership, like a copy of the title.
