Door makes screeching sound when locking 850

When I lock the doors, either with the remote or using the dashboard button,
one door lock mechanism (rear passenger side) makes a very hideous, screechy sound. It's not always there, however.

Is this something I can safely ignore, or will it cause more problems than just being annoying?
