Strut bars and tire wear 850

Will strut bars (and anti-sway bars) effect tire wear, either increasing or decreasing it by stiffening the suspension? Am thinking of installing an OSP or Volvo strut bar on my 97 850 LP turbo wagon and vaguely remember having read something on the forum about strut bars and tire wear. And, would anybody have an opinion about which of the two above strut bars is better? The OSP is around $130, the OEM $168 from Volvo Houston. Not worried about price. Installation and performance. Dick
