This morning, I noticed that there was an area of clear fluid within the upper top portion of my Volvo auto dim rear view mirror. The area covered by this "clear fluid" failed to perform the auto dimming function. I tried to move the mirror up and the fluid flew to the highest spot of the mirror - slowly.
What is this clear fluid ??? Is it water or something else ?? I don't have any water leak into the upper part of the roof. When I looked at the back of the mirror, I couldn't find any screws that I can take the mirror apart to try to clean the fluid. My next option is to get another mirror from Volvo dealer. What a short life mirror - about 6 months old!!!!! :-(
Any suggestion is appreciated.
Thanks,
Ching-Ho Cheng
