Radiator Hoses S70 2000

I was getting set to change the Thermostat and Radiator hoses on my S70. This is something I had done on my 240 every 4 years. The parts were cheap enough that I'd just do it. However, the price of the hoses on the S70 caused me to re-evaluate my strategy - over $60 for the two hoses at Swedish Engineering.

What's the thinking out there in terms of replacing hoses on the S70? How often? The thermostat is only $13 so I'll go ahead and do that.
