Ignition switch hassles S70 1998

Hi to all of you,
Recently had trouble with the ignition switch, both the electrical and the mechanical parts of it. Just want to tell everyone that the problem with the mechanical part of the switch was resolved by spraying the inners with brake cleaner, which evaporates immediately, and then sprayed ultra-light lubricant (such as PL-100 from Pro-Lab) a few times into it. Now works perfectly.
Everyone seems to suggest replacing that part of the switch (200$-300$)when it's defective, but it's not always necessary. Hope this helps some of you!
