Heated Seat Failure 850 1993

I swapped out a used replacement front driverside heated seat on my 93 850. My original seat also had the heaters. The problem is, the heated seats (both sides) worked when before I took the driverside seat out and now the replacement seat and the untouched passenger seat do not heat up. What could have caused this. I checked the wiring to make sure they were properly connected to the thermostat in the seat cushion and they are. I checked the fuse for the heated seats/power side mirrors and that is fine. I can't figure it out. Why would the passenger seat fail from installing a new seat?

I also want to mention that I took the thermostat and the black computer box off of of my working old seat and put them on the new seat just to see if that made it work. No luck.

Is there some type of reset I need to do with the car's master computer or something?
