2000 S70, opinions S70

Hi all,

A friend is considering buying a 2000 S70 SE, normally aspirated 5 cyl, automatic and asked me for my opinion. I drive an older volvo, so I don't know much about the front drive cars. Can you tell me if this car had any major mechanical/electrical issues? He is going to have a mechanic look the car over, are there any areas that he should be especially concerned with? What are the maintenance costs of driving this car like, relative to other vehicles? Is it reasonable to expect to get 300K km (roughly 200K miles) from a well maintained car?
