97 850 Purchase 850

I am considering buying a 97 850 with 57,000 miles. The car is very clean. The asking price is $10,988. What should I look for inside and out? What are the problem areas for this model as well as scheduled maintenance that may or may not have been done? Also what scheduled maintenance is ahead? I have never owned a Volvo before.
