I really want a manual transmission Volvo, 93 or later. These are real hard to find in the US. It occurs to me that manual transmission cars are popular overseas. So, the obvious possibility is to buy a manual transmission car overseas and ship it to the US. I understand shipping and California emissions might be problems -- but I'll research them next. I might travel to England on business later this year: is it worth my effort to visit a nearby left-hand-drive country and find a car?
Is this crazy? Anybody got ideas of how I can do this?
Thanks for the help.
