'New' 1999 S80t-6 Owner S80 1999

Managed to get a 1999 S80 T-6 at a very good price-I think it was repossed. It had some "issues".
1.) No remotes
2.) Gas Smell with open moon roof.
3.) Wrong battery in the trunk-couldn't get the mat to lay flat.
4.) Engine surged while idling-and at stops.
I went down to the dealership to get the remotes and run the codes. He said it needed a Mass air flow sensor and that they would need to remove the gas tank to find out what was causing the smell. He did let me know that there were two access plates under the back seat.
1.) I got a couple of remotes, for me and the Mrs.
2.) It appeared that the car had been in an accident and that the bolts to the plates over the ports weren't replaced-two twists of a wrench and the smell was gone.
3.) $99 at sears got me the right battery and my trunk is now in excellent shape!
4.) I bought a new MAF-piece of cake to attach-still surged-It turns out someone earlier must have changed it out-but forgot to attach the clamp to the air intake causing a vacuum leak a $212.00 lesson and $1.45 clamp--fixed!

The other codes were very silly things low coltage to rt rear locks wipers etc. Then found a web page to clear the "service engine" light.

So even after a small investment of about $450.00 the total cost is less then $4000.00 less than blue book! Despite the horror stories I've heard about the '99 S80 T-6 I am VERY happy so far. For the price of a Kia rio I have a Twin-Turbo with ABS, all leather, moon roof, power windows, locks, heated power seats, more things than what I have space for here.
Any advice that you could give would be greatly appreciated.
