Well, the dealer called this morning. The Volvo warranty guy stopped by, didn't take the car for a test drive, the dealer erased all the codes before he got there. Are these people stupid? The warranty guy only will authorize $600 in repairs and the estimate is over $2000. Madness! Apparently a drivers seat belt that randomly ejects (doesn't stay buckled) is not covered by the warranty, that's nice to know that if I am in an accident I will probably be killed or severely injured, thanks. I'm mighty upset, but my dad is on the phone with the warranty people now, he's trying to reason with anyone there who might have common sense.
