SERVICE LAMP STILL ON 850 1995

I went to VolvoSpeed and to Bay 13 to try and reset my "service" lamp, but still no reset. When I follow the instructions, the red light on the A side flashes as I depress the button, but after trying it many times, and waiting the 5 seconds after pressing it, it remains dark. Any suggestions. By the way, my 850 is a non-turbo version.
