new speakers for 97 850R

Have any of you out there switched out your stock speakers for some aftermarket ones? What brands have you all installed? I don't really know where to begin.

I am considering making the plunge but I don't want to install a huge subwoofer and/or amp that will engulf my precious cargo space. I just want awesome sound with decent bass. I plan on continuing to use the stock stereo- sorry I don't know the model.

Lastly, what are the speaker sizes in the dash, front and rear doors and rear deck?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help.
